Landscape architecture is the art and science of integrating manmade elements into the natural environment. Through careful land planning, our landscape architects create built environments that are both functional and aesthetic. Site elements include buildings, vehicular areas, pedestrian pathways, and site amenities (lighting, furnishings, etc.), which are logically incorporated into the natural terrain. Additionally, the design and implementation of best management practices (BMP’s), and the creative application of indigenous plant materials, contribute to a site design that meets specific permitting requirements while remaining environmentally sensitive.
